Lucite handbags were extremely popular back in the 50s. They were very expensive to produce that only Hollywood stars and members of the high society could afford. But in the late 50s, the invention of the injection molding reduced the production costs and so the prices. Soon more brands started making these bags at more affordable prices, with much cheaper materials, like this lovely handbag.
